Life Before KickStart
How was your body before Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
Before TKN my body felt strong, but I often felt bloated and lethargic. My weight fluctuated between 5-8 pounds from month to month.
How did that (state of being) make you feel?
Struggling with consistency sometimes gave me feelings of imposter syndrome. Or feeling bloated and not knowing the cause (or knowing, but getting in my own head and feelings and self-sabotaging) made me feel frustrated.
Was there anything you were unable to do that you wish you could have done?
Just to find consistency. Long-term. I have seen huge changes over the years, but I wanted my weeks and months to look more consistent and steady than they were.
During that time, how did your current state of being affect those around you?
My current state of being affected my husband most of all. When I feel doubt or frustration, I could become secluded or in extreme cases, unknowingly take frustrations out on him because he was closest.
The Moment Everything Changed
How did you hear about Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
I heard about TKN through co-workers.
What were your doubts and fears before starting the program?
My fears and doubts before the program lay in my confidence in myself to see the 12 weeks through.
What made you say YES anyway?
What made me say YES anyways is knowing that that statement is a bunch of malarky. I know who I am and I know that I am capable of much more than what my limiting beliefs tell me.
Life After KickStart
Where is your body/mind now?
My mind/body now is much calmer than it was before. Because I have said yes to myself so many times and in so many ways, I don’t hesitate or question myself when it comes to making the right decision for me and my goals.
How does that make you feel?
Where my mind/body is NOW makes me feel like I can do anything.
What are you able to do now that you were not able to do before (mentally, emotionally, or physically)?
I am able to let a lot more things go. I no longer adjust calories to make up for a bad meal or use training as anything other than something I enjoy.
The Ripple Effect
What positive impact did that have on others around you that you might not have expected?
The positive impact that I have had on others is my ability to genuinely show up for them. By showing up for myself and feeling more confident, I can now do that for those around me.
Sarah’s Words to You
What would you tell someone who is reading this right now and is unsure about taking the next step?
I would tell someone who is unsure about the next steps that you can’t get where you truly want to go by continuing to do what you have always done. And instead of thinking of the things you could lose, thinking of the things you have to gain (like knowledge and community) can make all the difference in the world.
