How was your body before Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
My body was okay, and I had decent nutritional skills because I had been taking nutritional therapy for a couple of years at this point before taking TKN.
How did that (state of being) make you feel?
Once again, I felt pretty good at this point. However, before nutritional therapy, I did not feel that great. So, getting into TKN was my motivation to keep reinforcing good habits and heighten my awareness around food and my food habits.
Was there anything you were unable to do that you wish you could have done?
Not really. I think these are more than foundational skills one can hope for. And if it wasn’t for nutritional therapy, I should have gone through this course first, and it could have shaved off some time from my nutritional therapy for sure.
During that time, how did your current state of being affect those around you?
That is also one of the benefits that the skills I learned at TKN were definitely used in other areas of life: relationship with my family, with my kids, with my wife. The heightened awareness really helped me focus on my relationships, so that was good. Although there is no such direct feedback from them, once again I felt more connected with my family and I was able to see and be involved in a lot more things with heightened awareness.

What were your doubts and fears before starting the program?
My doubts and fears were that I was in the middle of moving and closing my house, and would I be able to focus
enough to take 100% in the course? Will I be able to apply those skills during this disruptive time in my life?
What made you say YES anyway?
What’s the best way to challenge yourself while you are in your disruptive time in your life? To say yes to things
that are challenging. So I was like this is going to be my forcing function to keep me on track, so that’s what I did.
Plus, I’ve been wanting to take this course for the past couple of years at this point. I was like, there’s always going to be something that will prevent me from taking it, so might as well just do it.
Life After KickStart
Where is your body/mind now?
My body and my mind are very much in a great state right now. However, I am a little bit exhausted by tracking
everything and can’t wait to take a week or two off of no tracking, quite honestly.
How does that make you feel?
Makes me feel great, I’m pretty happy with the progress I’ve made and I’m pretty happy with all the skills I’ve
learned through this course.
What are you able to do now that you were not able to do before (mentally, emotionally, or physically)?
There were minuscule things which I never have thought about, eg. standing and eating, and respecting myself when it’s about food, and sweating the small stuff. I would not sweat the small stuff and that is what would
compound over time. Mentally, emotionally, and physically the awareness part of it is just shadowing everything in my life. That was good.
The Ripple Effect
What positive impact did that have on others around you that you might not have expected?
Once again, me being present, aware of my family around me, and spending able to spend time with them and
create good boundaries around food was something that might have not expected and that came through this
course.
