How was your body before Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
My body was in decent shape before TKN. I had previously done a couple fat loss phases, a maintenance phase and a build phase with a different program. I was on my own starting in August 2025. My sister’s husband passed away in October 2025 and I gave myself permission to eat without really tracking.
How did that (state of being) make you feel?
The sudden loss of a loved one is tough. Providing support for loved ones is tough. Not taking care of myself was tough.
Was there anything you were unable to do that you wish you could have done?
I wished I would have had more self respect and that I would have taken better care of myself, while trying to take care of others.
During that time, how did your current state of being affect those around you?
I was there for other people, but I’m sure I wasn’t at 100%.

What were your doubts and fears before starting the program?
The intake interview didn’t tell me anything about the structure of the program. There was no description of the weekly input that was required or how the process worked. After hearing a couple of Dr. Kashey’s podcasts and interviews with other people, I decided to go ahead anyway
What made you say YES anyway?
I said YES because I knew that understanding why I am eating was completely ignored in my previous program.
Life After KickStart
Where is your body/mind now?
My body is getting closer to a body composition that I want. My mind is clearer and able to make decisions to move in the direction of who I am becoming.
How does that make you feel?
This improvement in the process and learning about my underlying actions makes me feel powerful and able to keep moving forward.
What are you able to do now that you were not able to do before (mentally, emotionally, or physically)?
I am able to eat to a plan and not feel deprived. All of the food is single ingredient awesomeness and I am really enjoying it. I can notice when I “think” I need to eat and have tools to deal with myself
The Ripple Effect
What positive impact did that have on others around you that you might not have expected?
I am less stressed overall and I believe that is making me a more productive person overall in work and home relationships.
