Life Before KickStart
How was your body before Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
Before joining the TKN Kickstart, I was 70+ pounds overweight. I had low energy and low motivation.
How did that (state of being) make you feel?
I felt shame and disappointment that I had (once again) let myself down.
Was there anything you were unable to do that you wish you could have done?
I hadn’t been to the gym in about a year, and my daily step-count was less than 6000. I had little to no motivation to get outside or back to the gym.
During that time, how did your current state of being affect those around you?
My dog Paddy wasn’t getting the exercise or attention he needed.
The Moment Everything Changed
How did you hear about Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
I read the Comfort Crisis and was intrigued by the “outlier” results that clients were achieving working with TKN.
What were your doubts and fears before starting the program?
My doubts and fears before starting the program were that I would either be successful short-term and then fall back into old habits OR that I would give up half-way through.
What made you say YES anyway?
My 50th birthday is coming up in less than 3 years, and I knew I would need to start now if I wanted to enter my 50s healthier than ever.
Life After KickStart
Where is your body/mind now?
Since joining TKN kickstart, I’ve been walking 10,000+ steps a day. My mind is clearer;I sleep better and have much more energy. I have very little anxiety when it comes to food choices.
How does that make you feel?
I feel much more optimistic about my future and heading into my 50s now. My shame has evolved into confidence and excitement for what I’m able to accomplish.
What are you able to do now that you were not able to do before (mentally, emotionally, or physically)?
The most significant change has been the improved mental focus in my day-to-day work! The habits from the TKN program have translated into more confidence and clarity. I’m procrastinating less and getting shit done!
The Ripple Effect
What positive impact did that have on others around you that you might not have expected?
I was worried that my friends and family might not be supportive of my changes, but they have appreciated the boundaries I’ve set around food and have helped me stay on track. I went on vacation during the TKN Kickstart, and my travel mates would ensure that pubs had non-alcoholic options or that the restaurant menu had food I could eat.
Darroch’s Words to You
What would you tell someone who is reading this right now and is unsure about taking the next step?
The investment is worth the reward. This is not a quick fix, but it will be sustainable and change your life in the long run – not just your physical health but also your mental and emotional well-being. The rewards have spun off into other areas of my life – particularly confidence in my business and getting shit done!
